The new heat-resistant Si-X coating is applied to every stand of fiber before it is braided together under tension to create a round profile line that casts extremely well and provides excellent shock resistance on the initial strike and first run.
- Once hooked up the Si-X coating protects the line from frictional heat created by the line running off the reel and through the guides.
- After casting all day this line will show little signs of wear in comparison to regular braids.
